The original 135,000 square foot Guelph-Humber Building, located on the north campus of Humber College in Toronto was a joint venture with Diamond + Schmitt Architects inc. The building houses lecture theatres, flexible teaching classrooms, media studios, computer labs, offices, a digital learning commons, art gallery and internet cafe. At the building's centre is a four storey sky lit court and living bio
filter which optimizes air quality and the indoor environment.

Half of the original fourth floor was built up as shell space and became eligible for a fit-out with new funding. The interior fit-out includes 4 teaching classrooms and a 100-seat classroom, a Business Centre, Break-out conference rooms and a 40-seat tiered classroom.. The Business Centre consists of a walk-in millwork wall that allows MBA students to access the copier, printer and fax machine or plug in their laptops. Two semi-transparent polycarbonate panelled sliding doors can close up the space for program events or open out as part of general circulation. Polycarbonate panels hang below the existing acrylic domed skylights to filter the light in the Break-out rooms.
